We have a wide range of experience in Homestay services and pride ourselves in that extra-mile detail we put into everything we do to make sure that we meet the exact needs and preferences of our visitors, regardless of where you’re from or for how long you will be staying in Uganda.
Our primary goal is that you are comfortable with the Host Family we allocate you.
Most of the local families are located in Kampala city and the surrounding areas. However, on request, arrangements can be made for Homestay services in other major towns in Uganda such as Jinja, Gulu and Fort portal. All the Guests are treated as part of the family, dining together and sharing all common living space. Our Host Families consist of full family units (mother-father-children), single-parent families, young couples and retired couples. In addition, some families have been hosting Guests from abroad over the years. Therefore, they fully understand what it takes to host you. Elacet Homestay ensures to select Host Families that are hospitable, welcoming, motivated and are located in a clean, safe and secure environment.
We are constantly updating our Host Family data base and work closely with these Families. Whatever your Homestay needs and preferences, Elacet Homestay will make certain to get you what you need and make sure you have a comfortable stay while in Uganda.
Guests should not worry about finding their Host Families. The day you are scheduled to arrive in Uganda, our repesentative will be waiting for you at Entebbe International Airport with a sign displaying your name (and if preferred, your photo). They will have full details of your destination and are required to contact us should you encounter any problem.
